Hello folks,
There is a website, I believe German, who has read, reviewed and posted about The Trail of the Fox. It's important to point out that I don't know them, and their reading and reviewing was unsolicited. I think they just run their blog by reviewing books (sadly, I don't know if they are still active, as dates of posts are not so recent...).
I get regular site-visits from someone in Germany, but I have never had any communication from them, but now I suspect they must be this “Mini Istye” who has posted the reviews. There are actually two reviews on the site, neither signed, so I suppose they come from the “site owners”, which I'm guessing are one male and one female. Anyway, I am most appreciative of their reading and I want to thank them for their reviews !

The first:
It’s a long story. It seems to be pointing out how things really (were) so it is not so much a story to be read for pleasure or entertainment as it is to learn or educate.
Well, at first, I interpreted this as a grade of “C-“. But as I thought further, it’s true that the point of the story is to paint a picture of the way things might have been. Maybe the “story set-up” seems a bit long at times, but in this case the reader is getting the idea that it is intended to be a window into the past, so I am definitely pleased with that.
The Second:
I was so impressed with this novel. It is the best book I have read in years. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and I fell in love with all of the characters. I cried and laughed and really felt I could see through their eyes. I savored every page, and I totally recommend The Trail of the Fox.
Wow !! this one is a bit more “glowing” and I’m not sure I deserve such high praise. But I also have a cousin who really feels and sees the scenes as she reads. To know there are readers out there who can really connect emotionally with the characters, really visualize what's happening, feels fantastic and most validating !! That's what makes the effort worthwhile !!
So:
Please note that most sites where the book is available have a function where readers can post a brief review. It helps to explain and promote the book anytime you post a review, whether A+ or C-, so please do so whenever you can. You don’t have to be eloquent, just say what you feel. And by all means...please give LOTS of STARS !!
Go visit Mini Istye:

Thanks to all and take care !!
